the little things add up

let me tell you something…if I hear one more person talk about smashing vague, generic goals, I could scream!

Let alone mention of the dreaded “bounce back” post baby. It’s January though isn’t it and society states we should set ourself resolutions and goals and “make 2026 our year”. Oh please. In 2 weeks time, we forget about the thing and we beat ourselves up about it. We’ve not lost that stone, we’re back drinking wine and binge eating sugar. And feeling RUBBISH about it. So how about a different approach? You want to eat healthier?! Great! What’s one small thing you could change and stick to? Can you add a handful of greens with dinner? Replace that 3pm chocolate bar with some dark chocolate and whole nuts?

You want to few energised?! Also great! Could you go to bed 10 minutes earlier? Get 2 minutes fresh air when you wake? Or have a quick glass of water before that first coffee? (And I know you’re drinking that on an empty stomach, but we’ll get to that later!!)

Small changes stack up. You build the habit, it sticks. You add another. And before you know it you feel better. You glow. But you also achieve and stick to it and that feels better than anything in my experience. Nourish yourself bit by bit!! Start small, keep it simple!
